Califia Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between cats and their future families. It begins with an adoption application, where potential adopters share details about their home, lifestyle, and experience with pets. Once the application is reviewed and approved, we arrange an in person meet-and-greet, so adopters can spend time with the cat(s) they’re interested in. If it’s a good fit, we finalize the adoption with a contract and adoption fee, and provide medical records, transition tips, and ongoing support. Our goal is to create lasting, loving matches that set both the adopter and the cat or kitten up for success.
