Adopting animals from the shelter is easy. Adoption fees are: $50 which includes:
1. A certificate of examination from the Jackson County Veterinary Society (entitles adoptee to a free health exam)
2. Initial vaccinations
3. Preventative Worming
4. Spaying & neutering (age dependent)

The Jackson County Animal Shelter was established in 1985 and is the only animal shelter in the county. It is located on three acres adjacent to the County soccer complex on Audubon Lane in Gautier, MS, just off Highway 90.
