Millie (Needs foster or adopter)'s Story

Hello my name is Millie,

I’ve seen the worst of people. My last owners? Abusive, loud and mean. They’d scream and throw things… even threw me out into the street like I was nothing. I was pregnant once. Thought I’d finally have something good, but they took my babies from me. Just… gone :(

Ever since, when I hear yelling, I go full-on protector mode. I don’t mess around. If I think someone’s in danger, I will defend. I don’t try to hurt—really, I don’t—but I will stand my ground. I’m not mean. I’m just fierce. There's a difference.

Now I’ve got a foster mom who loves me. She gives kisses, talks sweet, and lets me be who I am. I love her, even if I only let her hold me for a second—I've got a job to do! I roam the halls, keep watch, make sure the peace is kept. I even play a few pranks here and there. Sometimes I wait by the front door and the second she opens it—zoom! I’m out in the hallway, tail high and laughing.

But I’ll be real with you—this place is too small for a sheriff like me. I need room to stretch my legs, climb things, jump up high and survey my kingdom. I’ve got energy now, joy even, and I want to play! I want to rule my space in peace, without other animals in my way. I want to be the one and only queen sheriff of my new domain.

So if you’ve got space, love, and a heart big enough for a little cat with a giant spirit, I might just make you my new companion.

But remember—no funny business. Sheriff Millie plays no games when it comes to love :)
