Millie's Story

Say hello to Milly! This little girl is super affectionate and wants nothing more than to be on your shoulder all day. She loves to be carried around like a baby and will sleep on your face and give you little kisses to remind you how much she loves you.

She will occasionally play with other kittens, but she much prefers the company of humans. She would be OK in a home with other pets if they are either her age and playful or older and won't get territorial against her.

When she isn't cuddling up to you, Milly enjoys zooming around the house and "hunting" mice toys.

Milly is one of Little Bean's special beans. Raised as a bottle baby, when she was around four months old, we discovered she had a congenital defect in her esophagus, causing her to have severe difficulty eating food.

Unfortunately, she is not a candidate for reconstructive surgery, so Milly must follow a strict diet of liquid food with high protein. Luckily, this is pretty easy to do! Simply blend up some kitten pate wet food with water and you are good to go!

Milly has mostly learned that she cannot eat dry food so she is OK to go to a home where an existing pet is free-fed kibble. Milly will learn her feeding schedule and will excitedly wait in her feeding spot :)

Due to her difficulties getting enough calories as a kitten, Milly is a very small cat. Fully grown, she is about 5 pounds and the size of a teenage kitten...perfect for small living spaces or apartments!

Little Bean’s Rescue's Adoption Policy
We believe in lowering barriers to adoption, and as such we won't make you jump through a series of hoops to find your forever-kitten, but we will work with you to make sure your new family member is the best fit for you and your family. We ask that all cats and kittens be kept indoors unless advertised as a barn or garden cat. After submitting interest or an adoption application, we will schedule a meet-and-greet virtually or at one of our adoption centers. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions, and meet Topal and his friends! If it is a good fit, we will send you the adoption paperwork to complete online or via phone. We accept cash, card, and check. Not sure if it will be a good fit? We offer up to 14 day foster-to-adopt - just let your adoption counselor know! All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.
