I am a shy but sweet senior girl who is struggling in the rescue environment. I find all these noises and constantly meeting new people to be stressful... I'm starting to shut down and having a hard time trusting people. I'm defensive and am looking for a special adopter who will take the time to build my trust. I am a sweet girl once I feel safe with you. I am calm and relaxed. I enjoy those cave cat beds, as they provide me with a safe space. I am quiet. I do not like to be picked up as it makes me feel unsafe. I am overweight and could benefit from losing a few pounds. I am on a special diet and have specific, prescribed dietary needs. I do not like other cats or children. I do not have experience with dogs. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.<br/><br/>Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.<br/><br/>Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.<br/><br/>No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.<br/><br/>We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.
