Southern Paws Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
SPAR Adoption Information Thank you for considering adoption through SPAR! Our goal is to ensure every animal is placed in a safe, loving, and permanent home. To help make the best match for both our animals and adopters, please review our adoption guidelines below. Our Adoption Process SPAR does not offer same-day adoptions. Every potential adopter completes an adoption application, followed by reference checks and a home visit. This process allows us to make thoughtful, lifelong matches between our animals and their new families. Adoption Donations SPAR requests an adoption donation for every dog and cat. These donations help offset a portion of the costs associated with rescuing, caring for, and preparing each animal for adoption so we can continue saving more lives. Veterinary Care Every SPAR animal receives comprehensive veterinary care before adoption. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, parasite prevention, combo test/heartworm test, & any treatments needed.
