Millie's Story

Millie became a mom before she'd even finished being a kitten herself! Millie’s personality is a delight. She's put on some healthy weight and blossomed into a curious, affectionate girl who loves trotting over to say hi and rubbing against your legs. She's blind in one eye, which honestly just makes her look extra cool (think tiny pirate energy). It hasn't slowed her down one bit, she is full of wild kitten antics!

Millie and her remaining kitten, Ollie are bonded as if siblings. She is basically a kitten in size and in heart! She is very petite and we guess her age to be around a year. The two of them play and snuggle together and are both very loving companions that will complete any household seeking an adorable bonded pair of felines!

To meet them in their foster home, please first fill out our application on our website:
https://www.familiarhearts.org/adoption-process

Once you are approved, a time to meet them can be made with their foster.

Familiar Hearts Animal Society's Adoption Policy
We always have potential adopters fill out our adoption application first so we can first vet them and make sure we approve of them as adopters before then inviting them to meet the animal(s) they are interested in. We feel this not only saves time for our fosters, it helps us get to know the applicant better and better be able to match them with the potential pet that is best for them. We always make sure everyone has a lot of time to deeply consider the adoption before finalizing it. The adoption is considered finalized after the adoption contract is reviewed and signed and the fee is paid. We then tranfer all the vet records and microchip information to the new family. We also offer behavioral support before and after adoption and one free training session with our dog trainer for dog adopters.
