Mila Mila is a Female DSH DOB: June of 2024 Adoption fee: $75.00 I am a sweet girl and I love attention, but I am also independent. I love pets and scratches. I can be shy at first, but I come around pretty quick. I am learning and growing everyday how awesome humans can be. I am an observer and curious, I like to watch everything going on around me. I am not too playful, but I could see myself coming out of my shell and having some fun! I should adjust to a cat friendly dog in the home, given a slow and positive introduction. I would do fine in a home with an older cat who is not looking for a playmate, I would also do great being the only cat! I would be best with older children, pending observed interaction. I am a sweet and easy-going girl; I will make a purr-fect companion for the right person, couple, or family!

Humane Society of South Central Michigan's Adoption Policy

You MUST submit all applications through our website, www.hsscm.org. We do NOT receive queries from petfinder! All adoptions begin with an application. If you are interested in adopting a dog, you need to first fill out an adoption application. Applications are available on our website under the 'adoption' tab or at our shelter on Watkins Road. After your application is processed and approved, we have you go into an adoption counsel with one of our staff members. During your counsel, we will talk to you about the dog that you are interested in, answer any questions you may have, and let you spend some one-on-one time with the pet. If you have another dog in the home, we will also do a dog-to-dog match-up before you fill out the adoption paperwork. Home visits are occasionally required, depending on the pet.
