Mikey is named after the 12-year-old boy who rescued him. <br/>When found, he was badly injured, underweight, and in need of stitches on his head after what looked like a run-in with a larger animal. But this handsome guy never lost his spirit. With care, plenty of meals, and a lot of love, his fur has grown back, and he's ready to trade his rough street life for the comfort of indoors.<br/><br/>Mikey has perfected the balance between loving and independent. He enjoys spending time with humans, relaxing nearby on the couch, and keeping you company throughout the day.
