It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


MIKAELA DANSO (all named after the new CHARMED series) and 10 other cats were saved from the shelter. Most of them were black cats. It's so unfortunate the bad stigma that these cats get. Lucky for them, (just like our logo shows) we LOOOVE black cats! According to the rescue mama that has been saving cats for over 20 years, black cats for over 20 years, black cats are the best cats EVER!


And MIKAELA DANSO is the example! She was very unhappy when we got her. She likes to be picked up. Now she is the sweetest, love bug ever! She loves to tell you all about her day! Will talk to you ALOT!


MIKAELA DANSO is only sweet and loving on her terms. She loves to play with other cats. She loves to play by herself too. She is a bit of a wild child. She will need a home with a family that loves her just the way she is. She loves to talk too. Will tell you when she's unhappy, while she's rubbing all over you.


MIKAELA DANSO is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / BOMBAY MIX. He is about 1 year old and is good with cats. In his foster home, she was around other kittens and older cats. She has never been around dogs that we are aware of or children.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

MARCH 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 5 pm - 8 pm. You can call the Petsmart location and find out what time an evening volunteer will be there. There is a sheet on the cattery door with VISITING HOURS.


The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
