Miette's Story
Miette was born just before the 4th of July in 2025. Before she was rescued, Miette spent her early kitten days napping in a cuddle pile with her siblings (Binx and Zelda). It's taken her a while to discover human laps, but she's coming around to the discovery that they’re pretty nice, especially on cold days.

Miette is cautious with new people and will hide from strangers, but once she warms up, she enjoys pets (especially butt and head scritches) and the odd laser pointer, although she is not as play-oriented as her siblings. Her priorities are, in order: Naps; Food; Scritches, and she will remind you that it's mealtime with a "pls feed me" scream that could break glass.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
