Midnight Moon's Story
Midnight Moon is currently located at the Everyday Adoption Center in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our Everyday Adoption Center team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information!

Midnight Moon is the perfect cat for someone with a busy work life: independent during the day, but a lover and a cuddler at night. During the day she’s happy to nap in a cozy corner, gaze out the window, or give you slow blinks from just out of arm’s reach. Then, when it’s time for bed, Midnight Moon will cuddle close, purring and making biscuits, and protecting you from bad dreams. Day or night, she loves chasing wand toys and can entertain herself for ages by batting around balls and small toys. It’s fun to give her something that jingles, because you can hear her playing even when you’re not in the room. Being picked up is stressful for her, and she will scamper away if she suspects you might try to do so. Although easily startled, her natural curiosity and playfulness always draw her out again.

Midnight Moon is on a special diet and oral medication to help keep her comfy despite some skin allergies. Fortunately, she loves her allergy friendly food!

Volunteers say: "Midnight Moon: She was a little shy at first but soon let me pet her, and began purring and making biscuits." "Midnight Moon is shy but melts for chin scratches. All it takes is a few loves to get her to come check you out and become your new buddy." "Midnight moon was such a love bug! She wouldn't stop purring and making biscuits while standing up, so it looked like this silly stomp dance."
