Your future best friend... once I've had a minute to get to know you.<br/><br/>I'm a beautiful tortoiseshell girl with a gentle heart, a little bit of shyness, and SO much love waiting to bloom. I was born outside to a stray mama. My siblings and I were trapped by super caring neighbors, and brought to the shelter to find our forever homes.<br/><br/>I might not be the first kitten to run up and demand your attention, but give me a little time, a soft voice, and some gentle pets, and watch what happens. I absolutely MELT.<br/><br/>My volunteer friends know something that many visitors overlook -there's a very special little girl hiding beneath my shy exterior - I just need someone willing to see me, believe in me, and give me the chance to shine.<br/><br/>I think I'd do best in a calmer home where I can start out with my own cozy space to settle in, build trust, and discover that my new humans are pretty wonderful. You don't have to rush me. Just let me come around at my own pace, and I promise you'll get to see more and more of my sweet personality.<br/><br/>Now, I do have a few favorite things! I love sitting by windows and watching the birdies fly by, playing with wand toys, and curling up for naps with my kitty friends. I get along beautifully with the other cats here, so if you already have a friendly feline at home, I'd love to meet them! I'd also be happy if you were open to adopting a kitty companion for me. Having a friend makes life even better. <br/><br/>And here's a little secret about me - I have a completely different personality when treats or food are involved. Suddenly, I'm much less interested in being shy and MUCH more interested in whatever delicious thing you happen to be holding. Funny how that works, isn't it? <br/><br/>I'm already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for FeLV/FIV.
