Mickey's Story

Poor Mickey has been through way more than any cat should have to endure. After being abandoned in an empty apartment, he ended up at a busy shelter, where he spent several weeks in a cage. Mistakenly labeled as "feral", this shy boy got placed somewhere he never should have gone, and spent several more weeks in a cage inside a chicken coop, where he was terrified.

Fast forward to today, where Mickey is settling into a home in which his rescuer has done amazing work getting him to come out of his shell. Now, Mickey's sweet nature has been shining through! While still shy, he is becoming more social with each passing day.

He loves to be petted and really seems found of his humans. He is (overly) eager to interact with the other cats in the home, sometimes to his detriment, as he is a bit of a stalker!

His favorite things are playing with a laser light and getting lots of yummy, lickable treats. This five year old boy is fixed and vaccinated, SNAP and fecal tested.

Mickey would do best in a home with other friendly, tolerant cats who like grooming, cuddling, and play.

MICKEY IS A COURTESY LISTING AND ALL ADOPTION DECISIONS WILL BE MADE BY HIS CURRENT CAREGIVER.
