Now, I’m back at Paws and Claws again because I’ve been diagnosed with diabetes, and my family could not afford insulin. When I was returned to the shelter, I was not so fine. My fur was full of mats, and I had lost a lot of weight. So I went to a wonderful foster home, where I received lots of TLC. My matted coat was shaved, and I became much more comfortable. My diabetes is now being treated, and I have gained weight. I will need to continue on insulin and have my glucose levels monitored by a vet. My mom said this about me: I am a good cat who listens! If I am told, “No” I answer with a little “Meow,” and I am a good boy. Because I am diabetic, I drink lots of water. I love ice in my water. I am strictly an indoor cat. If I ever do go outdoors, I will walk on the grass in the yard with you and never wander off. I was very, very loved by my family, and they were heartbroken to have to give me up. They asked that you take good care of me. Scratch me under my chin and behind my ears. Please, someone, I want to be in a loving forever home. I want someone to say, “Hey, Mickey!
