Michaela is a 4-year-old sweetheart with the most incredible spirit. She is mostly blind and can only see shadows due to a condition that affected her eyes early in life. Because she didn’t receive proper care before, her eyelids and retina had fused, causing discomfort and infections.<br/>Thankfully, she was able to get her a successful blepharoplasty surgery, and she is now comfortable and thriving.<br/><br/>Over the past two months in foster care, Michaela has truly blossomed.
