Micah's Story
Micah's test results are in and overall it's very good news

Micah is negative for heartworms and feline leukemia

Her fecal was negative

Micah's urinalysis came back perfect - no crystals, white blood cells, bacteria, or anything else weird

Her blood CBC was perfect

Micah did come back positive for FIV which is very common in outside cats. All this means is her immune system is slightly compromised. Most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives - especially when they are safe inside.

Cats with FIV can live safely with cats who do not have it. It is spread through very deep bites like the kind that come from unfixed cats fighting or mating. Micah is a peaceful lady and other cats don't bother her

Micah was spayed and RTF by the county shelter in 2020 when she was a year old. She is 7 now and recently showed up to a local colony.

She did an amazing job surviving on her own all of that time and now it's her turn to find a loving home

Micah is friendly, gentle, calm, and loves being pet and brushed. She would make a great companion for anyone needing a new best friend

To apply to adopt, please fill out our application:

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRF/Cat
