Mia Hamm's Story

Mia Hamm was just recently rescued when she was spotted hanging out among feral cats but with one obvious and distinct difference: SHE WAS INSANELY FRIENDLY!

This girl walked right up to our crew working in her neighborhood and, with her tiny but mighty “mew”, insisted we take her with us and find her a forever family with an indoor home of her very own.

At just a year old and still a kitten herself, this super petite girl had clearly already given birth to one litter and we are so relieved that she’ll never have to face that again now that she has been spayed!

Mia LOVES people. She LOVES to socialize. She LOVES to chat you up and tell you all about her day as she curls up in your lap and gets comfy for scratches before purring her day away. She is discovering the joy in toys and she is just a joy to interact with!

Are you ready for this lovebug to invade your space?

Our Mission
Since 2001, we have been able to rescue homeless or abused dogs and cats. The numbers of animals we save depends on funds we have available to cover the cost of rescue as well as volunteers willing to act as foster parents until permanent homes can be found. We are very fortunate to house some of our foster cats and kittens...
