Mia ***Community Courtesy Post***'s Story

Hi, I’m Mia! I’m a 6-month-old short hair calico tabby with spots that make me look like a little cheetah!

I was born on the streets but was too friendly to survive on my own. I ended up joining a little family and their 5 other cats, who took care of me and made me ready to meet my forever parents. Here I learned that some humans are nice, and I LOVE to play with other cats.

I am still a little shy and scared of new people, but if you give me time to learn I can trust you, I do love belly pets, curling up in comfy beds, and bird watching out the window. I must be an indoor-only cat, and would prefer to have one or more cat siblings, in a home with calm adults or older kids that understand I’m still a little extra-careful at first. So far, I haven’t met a dog, and don’t enjoy being picked up, but I love to be petted if you approach me slowly.

I may need some time and patience at first but will show my sweet side when comfortable. I am spayed, microchipped, FeLV & FIV negative, and FVRCP vaccinated, and can’t wait to meet you soon!

If you are interested in learning more about Mia, please use the link below to complete an application, which will be forwarded to Mia's caregiver for follow up!

https://desertpawsrescue.org/cat-adoption-consultation-form

***Community Courtesy Posts are provided to private members of our community who are looking to rehome their pet.
