Mia's Story

Met Mia,

Mia became part of our rescue after an unexpected turn of events connected to our El Yunque “Bad Bunny” family. She came to us in New Jersey as an orphaned neonate at just about ten days old, tiny and in need of constant care. Without hesitation, Bunny accepted her immediately, nursing her and raising her as her own alongside her kittens.

Despite being about three weeks younger than her littermates, Mia settled in right away and kept up from the start. She has always been determined, resilient, and completely content being part of the family. Mia loves being near Bunny and also enjoys spending time with her littermates.

Mia is a tortoiseshell domestic short hair with the most adorable split face and the sweetest, most expressive eyes. When she looks at you, it feels like she is trying to communicate something straight from her heart, perhaps how happy she is and how much she loves you.

Personality-wise, Mia is an absolute joy. She loves, loves, loves to cuddle and her favorite place in the world is right near you. Her preferred sleeping spots are as close as she can possibly get to you, like on your pillow or curled up against your neck. Mia is sweet, gentle, playful, and incredibly affectionate, and she truly thrives on closeness with her people.

Mia is also a bit of a foodie and happily keeps up with playtime despite her smaller size. She is named after a Bad Bunny song, fitting perfectly into the family theme and her loving, devoted spirit.

Mia does wonderfully with other cats and enjoys feline companionship. She would do well adopted with one of her siblings or into a home with another friendly cat. She is spayed, dewormed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative.

If you are looking for a kitten who will melt into you, sleep close, follow your every move, and love you with her whole heart, Mia may be the perfect addition to your family.
