Pepper was once a scared and broken down kitten. Having been accustomed to a life outdoors, Pepper had no idea what affection was prior to coming to CHA. Pepper was one of the first kittens out of her litter to accept affection from staff. She has slowly been gaining more confidence each day. We believe she is best suited for a quiet home with another cat to help her gain more confidence.All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
