MERLIN's Story

AGE: Baby - 4 to 5 months DESCRIPTION: DMH Brown Mackeral Tabby LOCATION: Foster Home MY STORY: Merlin, along with his mom and siblings, were trying to survive on their own. Mom had found a safe spot for the babies under a porch and it turned out to be the right porch because the home owner contacted us for help. She was able to get mom and the 4 babies to us and they are now happy and healthy and ready for adoption. Merlin is extremely friendly and affectionate. Very playful and full of energy, Merlin loves treats and playing with any toy. He is also very inquisitive and not afraid of anything. Gets along great with other kitties, likes to be the center of attention, but would be best with other kitties or a sibling. MORE DETAILS: Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $100. Adopt a pair of kitties for $150. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (if 9 months or older), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms. We ask that interested parties fill out a cat adoption questionnaire only if you are seriously considering adopting this sweet kitty. Once you have submitted the questionnaire, an adoption coordinator will contact you usually within 24 hours. Please be patient and thank you for your interest in this kitty. Panora P.E.T.S.'s Adoption Policy

Please fill out the questionnaire only if you are seriously considering adopting an animal. Click on the "Adoption Application" button to the right and then select the appropriate form, either cat or dog questionnaire. Once you have submitted the questionnaire, a volunteer adoption coordinator will contact you usually within 24 hours. Please be patient. Interested in meeting some of our beautiful kitties? Please visit us at our shelter located at 114 W Main Street - Panora, Iowa, on Saturday afternoons from noon to 4pm. You can also visit some of our adoptables at the Petco Jordan Creek location at 6805 Mills Civic Pkwy in West Des Moines, Iowa, during their normal business hours.
