Merkimer is a solid beefcake with the chillest vibes you will ever meet. This boy has a big heart with a personality that’s equal parts sweet and silly and one hundred percent loveable. Merkimer has a quiet confidence and a calm nature and nothing rattles this kitten. Loud noises? Sudden movements? He barely notices. Merkimer has a calm heart, and a playful spirit, exploring the world with curiosity and just enough caution to keep things interesting. Merkimer is cuddly, sweet, and endlessly entertaining. Whether he’s chasing a toy or flopping into your arms, he is just happy to be here. He loves playing with his littermates! Merkimer is good with other cats and kids, but would love to be adopted with one of his siblings (Bekah’s). Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS. Home at Last Rescue's Adoption Policy

Completed adoption applications are reviewed by an adoption coordinator and foster home. If suitable for cat/kitten, they will be contacted for a phone interview. A vet check is also done. If interview and vet check are satisfactory, a meet & greet (either virtual or in person, at discretion of foster) with foster home and cat is arranged. If is it determined to be a suitable match for both the adopter and cat, adoption is approved. Payments and contract are completed virtually and pickup is arranged.
