Merino's Story

Merino is a human-obsessed, food- loving and chatty tuxedo, who is getting used to his new life indoors.

He had been living on the streets of Brooklyn for a year after his owners put him outside and he is so happy to be inside.

His foster says that Merino is the most affectionate cat she’s had in years! He loves to cuddle, wants to be wherever the humans are, and seems indifferent to their resident cat. He is terrified by their tiny dog though.

We are hoping to find this Velcro kitty a home where he has lots of laps to sleep on and unlimited snuggles.

He’s just 2 years old, negative for FIV and FeLV, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Please fill out the application below if you’d like to meet him!
