Hi, I’m Merida! My story hasn’t been the easiest, but I’m proof that even after something terrible happens, there’s still so much hope for a happy ending. I came to KAAS after being shot, and when I arrived, I was paralyzed. But I’m a pretty determined girl, and little by little, I’ve been regaining movement! Everyone has been so proud of my progress, and now I’m hoping my next big milestone will be finding my forever home. I do have some special needs, so I’ll need a home with carpet or area rugs to help me get the traction I need to move around safely on my feet. I might need a little extra consideration, but I promise I have so much love to give in return. I’m just a sweet kitty looking for someone who will see me for who I am and give me the chance to write the rest of my story surrounded by love.
