Mercutio's Story

Here we have the black beauty known as Mercutio, though he also is affectionately known as Moo Cow or MuMu. He is a very handsome big boy, supremely lazy and low key, mellow and can be so, so sweet. He has been through a lot and admittedly it shows in the way he seems to glare at and judge his people; he will definitely require the grace and patience of a quiet and kind cat savvy home. He has the softest but most respectable little motor ever! Once he knows in his huge heart that people can be trusted his shyness is put on hold and he becomes a sweet and silly dude, highly committed to being a permanent fixture on the bed. He expects room service, back scratches and belly rubs but he has made it clear he has very ticklish toes, so those are off limits. Flying toys and treats are also a requirement. He will need to land in a home without children and ideally someone who can respect his boundaries as dictated, and please note he does seem to enjoy the occasional company of other cats and dogs. This guy just needs a safe and warm place to land and without a doubt will prove to be a lovely and amusing companion kitty! His foster home absolutely adores him! Mercutio was born 9/11/25

Please head to our website to fill out an application prior to setting up a meet. Once your adoption application is approved we will contact you to set up a meeting. http://nwac-oregon.org/adoption-application/

The $175 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchips, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, a negative FIV/FELV test, and a vet exam.

Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, non-profit, foster-home based rescue. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide the medical and physical needs of the pets in our care.
