Mercedes in a beautiful, loving seal point girl. The picture doesn't do her justice. She was turned into a northern MI shelter because her owners could not afford to care for their pets. She was there for several weeks before SOS received word of her and went to rescue her. She was very traumatized by the whole ordeal and spent the first week in the back corner of her cage. Her foster mom hand fed her twice a day and Mercedes has finally decided to trust people again. She has really come out of her shell and comes running for attention, now.(HK)
