Mendel. 3 years old. Neutered. Vaccinated. FIV+ but we don't think that's a big deal. He's wonderful with other cats. <br/><br/>Oh Mendely. How can this writer begin to describe how amazing this boy is? How much love radiates from his soft eyes. <br/><br/>Mendel is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He looooves cats (as long as they're not dominant.) Mendel is a sensitive boy. He is a LOVE. If given the chance, he will shower the right human or cat with allllll the affection. <br/><br/>He came to us dirty, scared, hungry and with puncture wounds on his body. Life on the streets was hard for this boy. <br/><br/>He was very hesitant with being close to humans. He would make himself small or defensively swat when hands came near. We used backscratchers and brushes instead and there he began his journey to trusting humans again. Slowly he began seeking affection from the hands of the volunteers he learned to trust.<br/><br/>Cats? He's so gentle and kind. He grooms others and many seem to love grooming him! Kisses. Playing. He's just wonderful. He just needs time and patience. He has a lot of love to give.
