Melva's Story

Update: Here it is a year later, and Melva is still with us. Her eyesight seems to have resolved itself and she sees perfectly well. She is still a little bit of a scared-y cat but gets along with all the other cats in the kitten room. She is a calm, sweet soul who would do well in a shop or barn... or your house if you are patient! Melva is one of five kittens that were born at the Job Corps facility west of Anaconda. All five are pretty scared right now and defensive when approached. They could be great mousers or shop cats. With time, they may warm up to us humans. Update: Melva's eyes have an opaque look about them. She seems to navigate the kitten room well. All our pets are vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed/neutered before adoption. Kittens (under 6 months) are $100. Cats (over 6 months) are $75. Seniors are $40, and bonded pairs (cats) are $125, bonded pairs (kittens) are $150. Barn cats are $25. Effective 03/15/2024.
