Melon's Story

Due to some pretty intense personal/family things I have needed (and will need) to attend to, I am not able to write the full, in-depth bios you have all become used to. Instead, I am dangling the carrot in front of you (such pretty faces!) and directing you to our Facebook page, where you can look for recent pics and take a glimpse into the lives our cats, read cute summaries and stories of their time here with us, and reach out to ask questions (set up a time to visit, fill out an adoption application - all of that good stuff!) Once my life normalizes a bit, I will get back to business, but for now, this way at least I can start the ball rollin' and promote each of our fabulous residents, shining a much needed and most deserving spotlight on each and every one of them!

Magnificent Melon is blind, but she doesn't let that stand in her way of enjoying her free-roaming life with us to the fullest! We currently consider her a Purrmanent resident, but if the RIGHT PERSON/FAMILY came along, we would happily make her part of our Special Adoption Program. To learn more about amazing Melon and our unique foster/adoption programs, contact us!

Sweet Lil' Melon prefers to spend her days hanging out in the bottom of her favorite tower where she feels safest. Not being able to see, and having the younger playful cats bouncing around all day, this is just where she wants to be. She's a darling little girl who does get a little overwhelmed if handled, but loves a good back and head scratching as long as she's not picked up. If she were to be adopted, she would probably do best in a small apartment or a single story home. In time, she would find her way around and feel safe with plenty of patience and understanding.
