Melody's Story

Meet our sweet senior girl looking for her forever home!

At almost 12 years old, this gentle little cutie has so much love to give and deserves a family to cherish her golden years.

She absolutely loves human company, enjoys getting pets, and has a playful side that comes out when there are toys around. She's happiest just being near her people and soaking up their love.

She only has a few teeth left, but don't let that fool you — this girl eats like a champ!

Senior kitties like her have so much love left to give. She deserves a soft place to land, a cozy spot to nap, and someone who will love her for the rest of her life.

PLEASE READ: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, please apply online at www.catdogfriendrescue.com. Please do NOT call or send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large influx of inquiries and phone calls. You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds. Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. We look forward to hearing from you! Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter and microchip insertion. Please note, unless otherwise stated, these are not pedigree animals and we have no way of attesting if any of them are hypoallergenic and as such cannot adopt to homes with allergies.
