Meet Melody, a beautiful 1–2 year old calico girl who is ready to trade life in an outdoor colony for the comfort of a forever home. <br/>Melody is a very sweet, friendly, and social girl who may take a little time to truly know you—but once she decides you’re her person, get ready for the sweetest little shadow. <br/>She’ll rub against your legs, follow you around, and happily weave between your feet... sometimes with so much enthusiasm that she accidentally tries to trip you! She just wants to be close to the human she loves.<br/>Melody’s favorite kind of evening is a quiet one at home, hanging out with her favorite person and enjoying the peacefulness of being together. She isn’t necessarily a lap cat—she would much rather curl up right beside you than on top of you. And honestly, there’s something pretty special about having a beautiful calico stretched out next to you, content simply because she’s near her person. <br/>She does tend to form a strong bond with her favorite human. She’ll tolerate other people if she must, but her heart definitely belongs to her person. <br/>Melody came from an outdoor cat colony, so we believe she may do well with other cats, although proper introductions will be important. Her feelings about dogs are unknown.
