Melody's Story
HELLO, I'M MELODY!
I really don't understand why this happened to me. I was living in a trailer park with my family when suddenly all of their things were being put into boxes. That seemed kind of fun until the boxes and my family all disappeared one day and I was left outside on the porch. Boy, that was scary! I waited and waited for them to come back, but they never did. Everyone always said I was a good kitty, so I can't think what I could have done wrong. I was getting very cold and hungry, so I was very happy when a nice person came and took me to her house. Her name was Toni and she fed me and even gave me a warm bath. She said now my fur is soft as silk! She said she was sorry she couldn't keep me forever, because she already had all the cats she could take good care of. She told me not to worry though, because there was a place called a 'shelter' where they'd make sure they found me a very good home, where my new family would never ever leave me behind. I'm sure my new family will like having me because I'm very friendly and get along great with kids, other cats and dogs too. I LOVE people and my favorite thing is sitting on laps while being petted. The more time you have to spend with me the better! Oh and I sing too, that's why the people at the shelter named me Melody. I have a little song to greet everyone when they come into my room because I hope they'll come pet me.
The shelter people said I should tell you I'm about 10 months old and have been spayed. That's so I don't have any babies. That's a very good thing because it seems to me that there are already more cats than there are good homes for them. I've also had my first shots and of course I'm a good girl and always use my litter box.
I bet you'd like to meet a nice cat like me, wouldn't you? It's easy! All you have to do is fill out an adoption application using this link: pawsitiveoutreach.wix.com/posna or you can call Gina at (509)703-8565. It's just $45 to adopt me, a very good deal for a nice kitty like me. Don't wait too long please, I'm all ready to go home with you right now!
