Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. <br/><br/><br/>MELISSA MCALL, and her 3 daughters (LYDIA MARTIN, TRACY STEWART and ALLISON ARGENT) were rescued from the shelter. Rescue mama was at the shelter picking up kittens for one of her fosters when she saw MELISSA MCALL and her family. They were so sickly looking. Needless to say, the rescue mama picked them all up. She could not leave them to their doom.<br/><br/><br/>Meet MELISSA MCALL, a beautiful diluted calico who has been on a long journey to find her forever family. After a chaotic start on the streets, MELISSA MCALL found herself in the shelter system where she and her children faced health challenges. Now fully recovered and safe in our cat room, she's still learning to trust that good things can last. MELISSA MCALL is incredibly curious and loves to investigate her surroundings, making every day an adventure. She's also very playful, with an independent streak that lets her confidently explore on her own.<br/><br/><br/>MELISSA MCALL's love for wet food is a great way to earn her trust and build a bond. While she may seem reserved at first, if you look into her eyes, you'll see so much love and a soft heart waiting to be fully open. She needs a loving human who will be patient, consistent, and understand that her past means she needs a little extra time and understanding to feel truly safe. Can you open your heart to this resilient girl and love her just the way she is?<br/><br/><br/>MELISSA MCALL is DOMESTIC SHORT-HAIR / DILUTED CALICO MIX. She is 2 years and 10 months old and is good with cats. She has never been around young children and she is very curious about dogs. <br/><br/><br/>MELISSA MCALL is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTION PROCESS:<br/><br/>1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)<br/>2. Fill Out Online Form<br/>3. Submit Online Application<br/>4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview<br/>5. Will be notified of Approved Application<br/>6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)<br/>7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>8. Sign Adoption Contract<br/>9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)<br/>10. Take the Kitty Home<br/><br/><br/>********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP**********<br/><br/><br/>VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. <br/><br/><br/>Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays.<br/><br/><br/>******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ******************<br/><br/><br/>The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. <br/><br/><br/>+++++ PLEASE NOTE: We only have cats in Murrieta and City of Industry +++++<br/><br/><br/>PETSMART <br/><br/>in City of Industry, California off Colima Road<br/><br/>in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue<br/><br/>in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue<br/><br/>in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue<br/><br/><br/>The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!<br/><br/><br/>************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.<br/><br/><br/>MELISSA MCALL is ALREADY fully vetted.<br/>The adoption fee of $200 covers: <br/><br/><br/>Spay<br/>FVRCP shots<br/>RABIES shot<br/>FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)<br/>Drontal Dewormer<br/>Stronghold Flea Control<br/>Microchip<br/><br/><br/>We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
