Tri-Lakes Humane Society's Adoption Policy

All animals are spayed / neutered before they are available for adoption. All adoptable dogs are heartworm tested, dewormed, given flea/tick/heartworm preventative and fully vaccinated (Includes: Bordetella, DAPP/L4+Canine Coronavirus, and Rabies). All adoptable cats are FIV, FeLV, and feline heartworm tested, dewormed, given flea/tick/heartworm preventative and fully vaccinated (Includes: FVRCP and Rabies).

In 1978 a group of neighbors got together to provide foster homes and find families for the ever-increasing number of stray animals roaming the Tri-Lakes area.
