Megumi's Story

This sweet baby boy was born with a very rare birth defect (called iris coloboma) and the pupils in his eyes are not slits, but triangles!! He is very unique. He can still see, he just has a little extra light sensitivity and trouble focusing on things at times. And you’ll notice from time to time that he tilts his head a lot to look at you and other things to focus. Because of this he can be startled easily with things like loud noises or people walking towards him too fast or running, but he is still the sweetest boy.

His favorite thing is butt scratches and he will purr up a storm and roll all over to tell you how happy he is.

He loves treats and sleeping in the sun with his brother, Choso. He is an absolute angel!

*Please note that most of our kitties will only be adopted out in pairs or to a home with an existing cat or furry companion--depending upon what is best for them.

If you are interested in adopting Megumi, you can find our Adoption Application and more information about our adoption process at http://www.kittycrusaide.org/adopt.

Kitty CrusAIDe's Adoption Policy
All of our adoptable pets will be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations, including rabies if applicable, de-wormed, and microchipped, PRIOR to adoption. Our adoption fee is $150 for a single kitten and $225 for a pair of kittens. If you find a feline friend that you'd be interested in learning more about please visit our website at www.kittycrusaide.org to submit an application. All of our animals are in private foster homes so our adoption process is 100% online. First your application will be screened and a short 15-20 minute phone interview will take place. Then one or several virtual meet & greets will be set up to introduce you to kittens that you're interested in and we feel may be a good fit for your home. A virtual home check will take place before bringing your kitten(s) home to ensure everything is safe and set-up for them. Finally, you'll bring home your new best friend! Our cats/kittens are not "first come, first serve" and forever homes are always chosen based on the best fit for each animal.
