Megan's Story
For The Cats' Sake

This beautiful tortoiseshell kitty is MEGAN, and she came to us last September as a very pregnant girl, about to give birth. As she was so close to her time we let her have her kittens, and fortunately she was a great mom who had four healthy babies. All of her kittens were adopted, but MEGAN really needed a little time after being a mom, to get used to humans and being inside. We are proud of this kitty for learning to trust us, and turning into a friendly and playful cat.

She is good with the other cats and loves to be outside on the catio in nice weather or inside and cozy in the cold, so we think she'd love to be an inside/outside pet. MEGAN will be a good mouser and companion, and if not allowed to go outside, would probably be happy with a screened porch.

If you would like to meet her, please fill in our application below!

ONLINE ADOPTION FORM:
https://form.jotform.com/81848821130152

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend over $250 to cover spay and neutering, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask for a minimum donation of $80 per cat, and that adopters pay more if they are able to. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.

TNR and a whole lot more...
