Meg's Story
Little Meg came from a house of many and feels a bit shy. She likes burrowing into blankets and cuddling with her friend Lois. Several people have told us that she is very sweet once she opens up to you. If you would like a quiet cozy companion to talk to and share your life with, we encourage you to take her home. She has a damaged eye, but don't let that throw you off. It doesn't affect her daily activities. We think her left pupil just got permanently dilated for some reason and perhaps her cornea was scratched. Come see her to see just how pretty her coat and personality are! <br/>All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. For cats, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter and feline AIDS/leukemia testing. All cats and kittens adopted from the Germantown Animal Shelter are not allowed to be declawed. Any questions should be directed to animalshelter@germantown-tn.gov. Or by calling the shelter at 901-757-7358.
