Meatloaf's Story

Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet.
Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend!
Saturday's noon-5pm
&
Sunday's noon-4pm.

Meatloaf is shy. He accepts being pulled out and held without a fight, but often hides his head and will run and hide if he gets a chance. Loud noises scare him. He comes out to eat and to play with other kittens; he’s learning to trust people. He is going to grow into a beautiful cat. His best friend (possibly brother) is Scotty, who also has a shy personality.
Meatloaf and Scotty were strays brought to a shelter the same day. We don’t know what happened to them before, but their foster mom is hoping some patient, kind person will adopt one (or both) and allow time for a timid kitten to grow into a secure cat. Being timid, dogs and small children will take some time for these kittens to get used to.
Meatloaf was born approximately July 17, 2025, and his adoption fee is $160, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweet boy at our adoption center this weekend!

You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com. Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.
