MCTAVISH's Story

MEET MCTAVISH! I am looking for: -- A 1-2 adult-only home that is quiet with minimal foot traffic. -- Someone with fearful cat experience Originally a stray, we don't know a ton about Mctavish's background, particularly with other cats or dogs. Mctavish is a fearful guy who is just looking for a quiet place to rest his paws so he might be best as a solo pet. He does have his friendly moments with people he trusts but he still spooks easily. Now that the outdoor life is behind him, Mctavish's dream is one with warm beds, cozy blankets and yummy treats! McTavish is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
