McLaren came to us alongside his brother, BoxBox (who has his own listing here on our website) through no fault of their own. Their owners unexpectedly had a life change and could not keep their pets. While it was not an easy decision for them to make, they brought the pair to us to try to find their forever homes.<br/><br/>This change was sudden not only for their owner, but for McLaren as well. McLaren had lived with his previous owners since he was a kitten, and it took some time for him to get used to us. Initially, he was pretty nervous, but was still super sweet with us. Now that's gotten the chance to get to know us, he has really opened up! McLaren is an active cat, and likes to be in the thick of things. He's very loving, and definitely has shown us his playful side.<br/><br/>In his previous home McLaren was around multiple other cats and did well with them all. We have not seen how he does around dogs or kids, though. Due to this, we strongly recommend a meet and greet with any canines or children in the home prior to adopting McLaren.<br/><br/>Even though McLaren has recently met some heartbreak, it just means he's ready for someone to mend that wound!
