Double the Love, Double the Purrs: Meet Missy and Mazzy Missy and Mazzy are an inseparable bonded pair looking for a peaceful forever home together. These sweet cats recently found themselves looking for a new family after the heartbreak of their family member's passing, and they have been each other's greatest comfort through the transition. Missy is the more reserved of the two due to being blind. She does enjoy attention and being petted but is comforted by Mazzy's love and guidance. Mazzy is the more outgoing one of the duo. She's not shy about letting you know when she's in the mood for some affection and petting. Mazzy loves to snuggle with Missy and groom her. Although she's the younger of the two, Mazzy seems to mother Missy due to her blindness. Their calm and sweet nature makes them perfect companions for someone who appreciates the gentle love of cats. Adopting Missy and Mazzy means giving them a forever home where they can continue to support each other. This bonded pair is available by consultant to discuss Missy's condition and medication. Also, due to flea allergy, It is highly recommended that Mazzy be kept on a good quality flea prevention all year round to prevent allergic flare ups. If you do not find the right animal on your first visit to our shelter, please return another day when new animals will be available for adoption. We include as much information as we know about an animal on their information card. We are here to help make a wonderful new addition to your family. Adoption Requirements • Must be 18 years of age or older (seniors 65 and over qualify for the Seniors for Seniors program) • Must have valid ID with current address • Must provide landlord’s name and phone number (or copy of current lease) • All members of the household should be present • You must understand that Berea Animal Rescue must approve your adoption application If this is your first visit, please follow this link, bit.ly/ARFWaiver, to provide us with your household’s information and sign our Animal Contact Waiver. Fees The shelter accepts cash or Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. *If paying in cash, please understand that volunteers are unable to make change.
