The same person who abandoned Mayci left her tiny kitten, Coffee Cake, in a completely different location in another city. Two innocent lives, separated and left to fend for themselves. <br/><br/>When Mayci arrived at her foster home, she cried throughout the night, searching for the baby who had been taken from her. Her mama heart knew someone was missing.<br/><br/>But we couldn't give up on their story. Through the efforts of our rescue, we were able to reunite this young mama with her precious baby. And when they found each other again? They were immediately happy.<br/><br/>Mayci was able to continue nursing Coffee Cake, giving her the nourishment, comfort, and love she needed to grow into a healthy, strong, thriving little kitten.<br/><br/>And now, look at them! Two beautiful souls who have already endured more heartbreak than any cat should ever have to experience. Yet they remain sweet, loving, friendly, and full of trust.<br/><br/>MEET COFFEE CAKE <br/>Born approximately August 7, 2026, this precious little girl has grown into a healthy, thriving kitten with her mama by her side.<br/><br/> MEET MAYCI <br/>Still a baby herself, this beautiful young mama has shown us what unconditional love truly looks like.
