🐾 Meet Maybelle- a quiet soul looking for her forever home 🐾<br/><br/>Some of life's sweetest moments come with the quietness of a slow blink and the gentle calmness of a soft purr from your lap. We're pretty sure Maybelle is the key to all that is complete in life, and she's hoping to find a soft spot to land to spend forever. <br/><br/>Maybelle is an affectionate 3.5 year old girl who is not looking to be the spotlight of your home, just the spotlight of your heart. She arrived to us at an emotionally difficult time for her, and we are so proud of the confidence she has found while being assured she is safe and sound. She has blossomed tremendously, but is still very much a delicate flower who will need a patient and understanding adopter with a gentle approach to continue the ever-rewarding goal of showing a shy cat how amazingly loved they are. <br/><br/>Maybelle is visually impaired and can only see a bit, so she will need that extra special consideration in continuing to build her confidence. She may do well with a friendly feline friend to bond with and show her the ropes, so long as they are laid back as she has not had the best experience with larger, more dominant cats. She would enjoy a relaxed, quiet home where she can enjoy her naps and soap operas. <br/><br/>While Maybelle may be shy, when she does settle in she starts to show off her affectionate side, looking for pets and becoming your personal lap warmer, regardless of the season. Catnip is cool in her book, and so are yummy treats. She takes her blood pressure meds like a true champ, and is sure to steal your heart one tail swoosh at a time. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. <br/><br/>Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! <br/><br/>All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
