Hi! My name is Maya. I came to the shelter with my litter mates from another rescue. I am a beautiful gal w shiny black fur. I am a bit shy with everyone here, but love playing with my brother and sister!!! <br/>I would love a home of my very own, someone who will give me time to settle in to another new place. I have been moved around a lot in my short life and it will take me some time to trust another new person and settle in another new place...but please give me a chance!!!! Town of Swansea Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

All of our adoptable animals are vet checked, vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped. All animals, if not done, are also spayed or neutered prior to being placed in a home.The adoption process is fairly simple; there is an application to complete. Once completed the application is reviewed, references are checked and, if approved, the animal is released to the adoption applicant. Adoption fees are as follows: $175.00 for cats and $250.00 for dogs. Please call to schedule an appointment.
