Maya is a gentle, soft-eyed beauty who’s about a year old now. Rescued at around 8 weeks old, she was on the edge of the socialization scale—but thanks to a patient and dedicated foster home, Maya has learned how to thrive in a cozy, loving environment. While her three siblings have all been adopted, Maya is still waiting for her perfect match.<br/>Maya is a sweet, quiet companion who tends to get lost in the shuffle, but she shines in the right setting. She’d do best in a calm home with 1–2 people and perhaps 1–2 other pets who can show her the ropes without overwhelming her. She’s comfortable with both cats and respectful dogs.<br/>With a medium energy level, Maya enjoys interactive play with her humans—especially wand toys and catnip sessions! She loves to cuddle with other cats and will often be found lounging on the cat tree or curled up on the bed. While she prefers not to be picked up, she enjoys sitting beside you and just being part of your peaceful world.<br/>Maya may take a little time to open up, but she has so much love to give once she feels safe.
