Maya's Story

slow introduction with dogs, likes the ones that ignore her
doesn't mind other cats that give her space and are friendly

About Me:

Maya will take awhile to warm up to your home. And when we say "awhile"... we mean months. When you adopt her we'll set you up with the tips and tricks that helped us ease her into her foster's home, and you'll slowly see her relax. Then uncurl. Then she'll start to lean her head toward you when you come to feed her. And soon, with patience, you'll get head bumps so strong that the water you're trying to pour into her dish will spill everywhere and the purrs will be so loud she won't even hear you say hello. Sometimes the biggest and best love takes a little tme and patience.
