May's Story

May, and her littermates Hugh, Doyle, and Astrid were turned outside with their mother, Hazel, by their former owner. Fortunately, a compassionate bystander found the little family and brought them to Cameron Animal Rescue. Now, Hazel, Doyle, and the rest of their little family are ready to find their forever homes.

May and her littermates Doyle, Hugh, and Astrid all resember their mother, with their round faces, big eyes, and thick, velvet soft coats. Wonderfully, they also resemble Hazel in their temperment - calm, sweet, gentle, and smart. They are active, playful kittens, who love to chase and wrestle with one another. They love playing with different types of toys, and enjoy playing with people. They are also very cuddly, and love being held and pet. They purr up a storm, and they have a signature move in which they suddenly flop down for belly rubs. While staying still for long periods is difficult for active kittens, they do enjoy being held, especially after they've gotten their energy out. May is the cuddlebug of the group. She loves to play with her littermates, but she is always up for a break for a belly rub or an ear scratch, or just to be held for a few minutes. But make no mistake, she can keep up with the others just fine, and has just as much silly kitten energy.

May and her littermates are good with people, although they haven't been tested with young children. They are also good with other cats. However, they are very bonded with one another and must be adopted in pairs. They have not been tested with dogs, but can be tested upon request.

May, Doyle, Hugh, and Astrid are healthy kittens. They are FeLV/FIV negative. Their adoption includes their full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines; fecal testing and deworming; flea/tick prevention; spay; microchip; 30 days of free pet insurance. Because they are half British Shorthair, they may be predisposed to various breed associated medical conditions. Therefore we are seeking an adopter with an extensive prior veterinary reference. Please provide that information in your application.

May, Doyle, Hugh, and Astrid can't wait to find their forever homes. Could that be you?

Email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information.
