Maxwell and Hazel came in after originally being found discarded in a dumpster.<br/><br/>Maxwell and Hazel are slowly learning to trust people, but so far are still very wary of us humans. Our volunteers are always working with the kitties to build their confidence.<br/><br/>We hope that once in a home Maxwell and Hazel will be able to settle in and trust their family but we have no way of knowing for sure. Anyone who is interested in these kiddos would need to understand that while they may warm up they may always be quite shy.<br/><br/>Maxwell is around 6.5 years of age as of August 2024.<br/><br/>Even if they are always nervous kitties they can still be wonderful companions. Maxwell and Hazel have spent their whole lives together and since they may never fully warm up to human companionship we are only adopting them out as a pair.<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $200 for a pair, and includes distemper vaccine, rabies, dewormer, flea treatment, spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV Combo test and microchip. <br/><br/>If you are interested in adding one of our cats to your family you can email catadoption@lunashouse.org or APPLY online using the link on the website.
