Maxine's Story

Millie and Maxine are sweet sisters who truly enjoy each other's company and get along wonderfully together, as well as with other cats. Both girls are very sweet and seem to enjoy attention, but they are still a bit timid in the shelter environment. Maxine tends to be the more shy and apprehensive of the two when it comes to receiving pets - though that certainly doesn't stop her from politely asking for them. Millie is beginning to blossom and will come out of her hidey hole when things are quiet enough, even following you around for attention. We believe these lovely girls would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient and understanding adopter who will give them time to settle in and build confidence. With love and consistency, we're sure they will grow into the sweetest companions. If you're looking for gentle, loving girls who just need a little time to shine, you can meet Millie and Maxine at the Humane Society of Delaware County!
